Participants will be required to comply with both pre and post workshop guidelines to ensure successful completion of the workshop.
- Participants are required to come to the workshop with a definite idea and learning objectives for a business case. They need to identify a company, the case protagonist, and preferably (not mandatory) obtain permission from the company to write the case. Further, participants are requested to prepare a 4-5 page preliminary background about the selected company.
- Participants are requested to share their case idea and learning objectives with us by April 25, 2013.
- Each participant will be expected to submit a 2-3 page Case Plan by July 4, 2013. The Case Plan includes the opening paragraph, outlines of the finished case by subheadings, list of data requirements, and a time plan. This plan is the basis of each case study.
- Participants will receive feedback on the Case Plan by July 30, 2013.
Note: Participants are encouraged to work on the feedback and complete their Case and Teaching Note, initiated during the workshop, in the next six months. Participants can also submit their case to the ISB-Ivey Global Case Competition 2014, which will be announced in January 2014.
