About Faculty

Professor Aswath Damodaran  is Professor of Finance at the Stern School of Business at New York University. He won the Stern School of Business Excellence in Teaching Award for an unprecedented seven times. In 1994, Businessweek recognized him as one of the top twelve business school professors in the United States, and in 2011 he was voted the most popular business school professor in the US.  Professor Damodaran’s research interests lie in valuation, portfolio management and applied corporate finance, and he has authored multiple books, including four on equity valuation and two on corporate finance.  Professor Damodaran will run a session at the Consortium by Skype.
Professor Pierre Dussauge is Dean of Faculty and Research, at HEC-Paris. Earlier, he was Visiting Professor of Corporate Strategy and International Business at the Ross School of Management, University of Michigan. He has taught at various other schools including INSEAD (Fontainebleau), IESE (Barcelona, Spain), INCAE (Costa Rica), ISB (Hyderabad) and Tsinghua University (Beijing). He won the Best Teacher Award in HEC-Paris in 2002. Professor Dussauge’s research focuses on global strategic alliances, and he is the author or co-author of several books in the field of strategic management.  His book, Les Stratégies d'Alliance won the 1995 McKinsey Award for Best Management Book published in France.
Professor Arun Pereira is Executive Director, Centre for Teaching, Learning, and Case Development at ISB. He is also a member of the Permanent Faculty at ISB, and External Faculty at McKinsey & Company, Mumbai. Professor Pereira spent over 20 years teaching MBAs, senior executives and Ph.D. students in the US. He is the author of two books, and a wide range of scholarly papers. Professor Pereira has won multiple teaching awards in Executive MBA, and MBA programmes, the most recent being voted ISB’s Professor of the Year for Elective Courses in 2012 and 2013. 
Professor David Sharp is Associate Professor of Managerial Accounting and Control, and the William G. Davis Chair in International Trade at Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, Canada. He is also Faculty Director, HBA International Opportunities. His previous appointments include faculty positions in Boston College, USA, and other institutes in the Middle East. He teaches managerial accounting and control, and international accounting in the MBA Program and Executive MBA programs. Professor Sharp’s research interests centre around international management, accounting, and management decision-making, and his research publications cover the areas of international financial management, cross-cultural behavior, and international business ethics.
