Academic Associate Awards



Academic associates have worked relentlessly behind the scenes throughout the year to make the academic experience fruitful and these awards recognise their contributions. The awards are decided by students through a process of preferential nominations as a percentage of total students in the classes supported by the associates. Three Academic Associates have been chosen for the recognition with the top Academic Associate being given the “Academic Associate of the Year” award.

The top 3 academic associates for the year 2012-13 listed below, along with some comments by the Class of 2013:

Praveen JN is awarded “Academic Associate of the Year 2012-13”
“Very proactive and dedicated to student learning. Great relationship with students!”

The two additional awardees are:

Pooja Mishra: “For understanding the true needs and issues of both students and professors”

Yedu Rajeev: “Yedu has been a pillar throughout the year. He has evolved greatly in his approach to his work and is loved by everyone. He picks up correct courses where he knows he will be able to contribute to overall learning.”

Prasad TMV is awarded “Academic Associate of the Year 2012-13”
“He is accessible, knowledgeable and cooperative. He was the most helpful AA and gave awesome tutorials for Options and Futures”
 
The four additional awardees are:

Bibhu Prasad Kar: “Helped learning after classes, solved doubts promptly and helped revision during exams”

Pradeepti Korada: “Engaging and very helpful; extremely organised and goes out of her way to help the students, helped out a lot of students struggling with GLEC”

Puran Singh: “Very dedicated, easily approachable and friendly, has excellent command on the subject”

Sourav Bikash Borah: “Prompt and responsive to student requests, helped clarify doubts in concepts and was very efficient with communications regarding assignments”
