The ISB Scholar of Excellence is awarded in recognition of outstanding academic performance throughout the year to two students in the Post Graduate Programme with the highest cumulative grade point average in their graduating class.
Shwaitang Singh from the Mohali campus and Nakul Kapoor from the Hyderabad campus are this year’s outstanding scholars.
Singh credits the faculty for pushing him to excel. “Not only are they world authorities on the topics they teach - they bring tremendous passion for making students learn. As a result I thoroughly enjoyed the class room experience and only saw it fit to invest in my learning in the same way as professors do in ours,” he said. While acknowledging that he has always done well academically, he admits that “lady luck did play a big role in my one year at ISB.” For the incoming class, Singh advices, “Have fun in the class. The professors really make an effort to give us the best learning experience. The students at ISB are the smartest and brightest in India. Use every opportunity to learn and collaborate with your peers. I realised that the learning experience was far richer that way.”
